I am a sixth-grader at Sherwood Heights Elementary School. I have gone there for all my school years. This winter, an ice rink was made at Sherwood Heights. It is extremely nice, so thank you to Auburn for building our very nice rink. We have been playing on it all the time and it is nice for kids to be able to skate after school and in their free time.
Skating is a good healthy thing to do. It would be nice if we had the ice all the time every winter. If we could get the ice every winter, my friends and I would be happy to shovel the snow off the ice so that it would be really nice to skate on.
