LISBON FALLS — Stanley W. Patten, of Lisbon Falls, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Norway on May 15, 1948, the son of Leroy Patten Sr. and Blanche Hatstat. Stanley faithfully served in the Army, 101 Airbourne Division, during the Vietnam War.

He was employed at Penleys for several years as a machinist. Later on he worked at Riley Medical and Proctor & Gamble until retirement.

He was an an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and camp.

He loved spending time with his family and helping anyone in need. He would give his shirt off his back to anyone who was down on their luck and needing a helping hand.

He is survived by his daughters, Tamera Hodgkin and companion, Andrew Shea, Stephanie Durgin and husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Andrew Allen and fiancee, Jami Phillips, Zach Farnsworth, Sara Farnsworth, Nicholas Allen and fiancee, Ann Deisgnor; brothers, Leroy, Dan Patten Sr., Raymond and Joe Ryerson; sisters, Lorraine Greene, Yvonne Hill, Jane Ryerson, Janet Ryerson; several nieces and nephews; and his ex- wife, Linda Patten.

He was predeceased by his parents, his two brothers, Charlie Patten and Edward Ryerson.
