LEWISTON — Advocates for Children has announced that the Maine Families Androscoggin Home Visiting Program was recently awarded the Blue Ribbon status from Parents as Teachers National Center.
The Blue Ribbon is a high distinction in the field of evidence-based home visiting and means the group is committed to delivering the highest quality services to children and families.
Local winners are:
• Maine Families Androscoggin County, Advocates for Children;
• Maine Families Franklin County, Franklin County Children’s Task Force;
• Maine Families Oxford County, Community Concepts Inc.
