AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College women’s basketball team finished off a second consecutive undefeated Yankee Conference season with an 87-53 win over Southern Maine Community College on Monday.
Alex Bessey scored 17 points and tallied nine assists, eight rebounds, four blocks and two steals for the Mustangs (26-1, 16-0). Brooke Reynolds scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds, and Jordyn Reynolds contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.
CMCC dished out 22 assists on its 34 field goals and out-rebounded SMCC 48-30.
Abigail Ramirez poured in a game-high 22 points for the Seawolves.
