The Public Theatre has received a grant from the Lewiston Auburn Children’s Foundation for $1,000. The grant will be used for the Youth Education & Outreach Program, which works with schools and young families in the community. The program provides subsidized tickets to shows and offers children from all backgrounds a chance to overcome cultural differences, language inhibitions and transportation limitations. From left are Lisa Mayer, development director; Liza Dimitri, foundation vice president; and Christopher Schario, executive/artistic director.
