FARMINGTON — New Ventures Maine will offer a free, four-week class, “My Next Career Move,” that helps participants prepare for a new career path with a plan that is right for the individual. The class will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8 p.m., meeting for four sessions from March 7 through to April 4. Classes will take place at the New Ventures Maine office, 108 Perham St., Suite 2, Farmington.
Those attending will review their skills, interests, personality and experiences and relate them to occupations, identify educational opportunities, research the local job market and strengthen their resumes for a targeted job search.
The class is open to people of all ages and incomes. Preregistration is required. Register online at: newventuresmaine.org.
