LIVERMORE FALLS — The Treat Memorial Library Book Club will celebrate Women’s History Month as it launches a new book series, “She Persisted: Biographies of Great Women in History.”

The first meeting will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 8, when members will discuss “Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg” by Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik. It will be the first of five biographies in the series. Those wishing a copy should ask library staff.

Other March activities will include the following:

Preschool Story Time is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, offering stories, songs and activities. Every event ends with a craft to take home.

The LEGO Club meeting will fall on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17. Members will build rainbows and leprechaun traps at the 10:30 a.m. session. Creations will be kept on display until the April meeting.
