FARMINGTON — It is with sadness that we announce that Jean M. Breton, 83, a resident of Jay, left her family and friends Thursday, Feb. 15. She was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Jay, the daughter of Charles Cheli and Adelia (Allegrini) Cheli. She was a graduate of Jay High School.
On Sept. 3, 1955, she married Emilo Breton. He passed away in 1977. Jean worked for many years in the cafeteria at Jay High School. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and volunteered at the local food pantry. Jean enjoyed playing cards, dancing, traveling, leisurely walks, shopping, and she especially loved spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Breton, of Jay; her daughter, Terri Crovetti, and Chuck Mantos, of Dover, N.H.; grandchildren, Corey Breton and Patricia, Ashley Bergman and Brandon, Michael Crovetti, Justin Jacques, Lindsey Jacques, Chelsey Muniz and Skye Walker; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Brenna, Aden, Dominic and Kenzleigh. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; daughters, Diane Jacques and Rhonda Breton; sisters, Angelina Angiolillo, Theresa Ercolini, Adrienne Bennett and Mary Hathaway.
