BUCKSPORT — The annual Bucksport Arts Festival is now accepting applications from artists and food vendors. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 10 and 11, on the Bucksport waterfront.

A reception for artists and the public is planned for Friday evening. This year, the festival jury will accept up to 50 artists and fine craftspeople. Applications are due May 1 and selected artists will be notified by May 15. A $25 nonrefundable application is required.
