LEWISTON — Jeannine Caron, 74, of Lewiston, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, surrounded by loved ones.

Nenine was born in Lewiston, Dec. 25, 1943. She graduated from Marie Joseph Academy in 1961.

She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Haas and Dr. Rosenblatt for 18 years. She retired from L.L. Bean after 18 years.

Nenine loved the ocean, horseback riding and her family and friends.

Jeannine is survived by her 11 children and their significant others: John and Cathy Johansen, Michael Johansen Caron and Anne Caron, Mitchell and Lisa Caron, Lydia Caron and Spruce Whited, Desiree Caron and Ray, Jeremy and Alexis Caron, Amanda Slater, Jessica Caron and Dan Crockett, Tanya Caron and Edward Young, Erin Caron and John Waye and Mercedes Caron and Robert Clark.

Jeannine cherished her 33 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Caron, and his wife, Arlene, along with their children; and good friends, Jeannine Smith and Mary Hammond and her children.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannette Caron, and her father, Joseph O. Caron; and lifelong friend of over 60 years, Mrs. Annette Howe.

She is very loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives and hearts she touched throughout her lifetime.
