I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Terry Hayes’ for governor.
I did not know much about Hayes heading into the 2018 gubernatorial election season, but my impression, after learning more about her candidacy, leads me to believe she is an honest, hard-working person who genuinely cares about bringing everyone in Maine politics together to make government collaborative, functional and ethical. I even spoke with a member of the Oxford County Republican Party who echoed this view, stating the Hayes is the only candidate he has been impressed with thus far.
Because she is committed to getting big money out of politics, she is running as a Clean Elections candidate. I encourage others to join me in support of Terry Hayes and Clean Elections.
