MINOT — Elwin J. Mulherin, 84, passed away peacefully after a battle with Alzheimer’s, Monday, March 5, with his loving family by his side. “Jim” was born in Jefferson, N.H., on Feb. 28, 1934, to the late Arthur and Pearl Mulherin. Jim worked at Bancroft & Martin, Doran-Maine, Northeast Culvert and Swan’s Concrete. He loved to hunt, fish and drive his four-wheeler. He also truly enjoyed his time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When they were around, his smile would light up a room.
