MINOT — Leo L. Lovely, 85, of Dade City, Fla., and formerly of East Livermore, passed away Friday, March 2, at Gulfside Hospice Center in Zephyrhills, Fla.
Leo was born in Fort Fairfield on July 7, 1934, to parents Edna (Kinney) Lovely and Aubrey Lovely.
He served in the Marines from 1952-1955. He was a heavy equipment operator with International Union of Operating Engineers from 1958-1993.
Leo was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Theresa Lovely; his parents; three brothers, Robert, Clayton and Richard; and one sister, Betty.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice Butler, and her husband, Steve, of North Waterboro; his son, Marc Lovely, of Granby, Mass.; a granddaughter, Kristine Fish; a grandson, Brian Butler, and his wife, Monica; his second wife, Joan Schafer; his brother, Glynn, and his wife, Cheryl Lovely; and his sister, Rose, and her husband, Jerry Fisher.
