Storytelling Guild to swap stories

FARMINGTON — A Storytelling Guild story swap will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at St. Joseph Parish Hall at Middle and Quebec streets.

Historical society to hold open house

TEMPLE — The Temple Historical Society will be open to the public from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18.

Members of the society will be available to assist in looking up ancestry, finding specific photos, talking with people who have specific requests and sharing the archives with anyone interested in finding out more about the town and its history.

The monthly meeting will follow at 3 p.m., and anyone interested is welcome.

Skeet shooting at fish and game

WATERFORD — Recreational skeet shooting is held at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Waterford Fish & Game Association, Route 118.

The public is welcome and should bring a shotgun and ammo. The cost is $3 a round of 25 targets.
