Other countries with strict gun controls seem to experience lower incidences of gun violence. Let’s welcome more restrictive gun-control legislation in the U.S.

As a side note, one wonders whether the Second Amendment was created to ensure a militia could be formed to repel insurrection, as in the case of Shays Rebellion in 1786.
