Despite how most news outlets unfairly portray President Trump, as a non-politician, he is successful, against all odds, in a volatile and polarized political world.

During President Obama’s administration, the economy was stagnant with gross domestic product increases of 2 percent or less. That has been replaced by increases of 3 percent or more, the highest consumer confidence in 17 years and tax breaks for 80 percent of working Americans.

Many businesses have already given millions of workers bonuses, raises and more personal time. Tax breaks lead to more jobs.

President Trump loosened the rules of engagement placed on U.S. Armed Forces by President Obama, with the result that ISIS has been pushed from much of its captured territories. Trump got NATO allies to kick in $12 billion more for our collective security. His firm pressure on North Korea has resulted in the possibility of historic negotiations.

President Trump is ushering in a new era of U.S. energy independence. Lower gas prices are like a pay raise to all Americans.

President Trump believes individuals should immigrate to the U.S. on a merit-based system. Immigrants should have work skills to help America grow and prosper, not become dependent on the government. Illegal immigrants should not bypass all those legally waiting in line.

President Trump wonders why citizens need photo identification to drive, to travel, and to do many daily transactions when individuals do not need one to vote.

President Trump deserves the nation’s support and should be given a fair chance to succeed.
