Art students have been busy getting ready for the school’s 18th annual Arts Gala Night, which is Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening marks the end of a weeklong celebration of the arts, said art teacher Wendy Schlotterbeck. Students’ artwork will be on display throughout the school’s hallways. The student jazz band, the “Stingin’ Steel” steel band and the Hornets in Harmony will perform. There will also be an open mic/poetry performance. “The hallways will be filled with music,” Schlotterbeck said.
