The Orono police department will hold a workplace/ school violence safety class on April 5 from 7-9 p.m. in the Orono town council chambers, 59 Main Street. 7:00pm
The purpose of the class is to educate the public on basic safety techniques during a workplace or school violence incident. Officers will go over some basic safety and medical techniques and then open it up for any questions people have.
This event is free and open to anyone in the public, from Orono and elsewhere.
