Elected officials in Washington, D.C., usually vote by a show of hands or voice vote. My question is, why don’t they vote by using secret ballots?

With an open vote, representatives stick with their party.

By using secret ballots, I believe there would be a big difference in how they vote.

The way it is now, they stick with their party and it will never change. It’s a mess and, to me, it is sickening.
