Finding a way to forgive to be explored

LEWISTON — How to heal and forgive after being wronged will be discussed at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Lifetree Cafe.

The program, titled “The Struggle to Forgive: Finding a Way Forward,” features the filmed story of Alicia Brady, who was the victim of a gang-related drive-by shooting.

A dancer, Brady sustained injuries that caused her to lose the ability to perform competitively.

“Dancing was my life,” says Brady. “Everything I had worked for was taken from me. I had lost that life, and I wasn’t going to get it back.”

The Lifetree program will offer guidance for those who find it difficult to forgive those who have wronged them.
