Congressman Bruce Poliquin has followed in the footsteps of great Maine leaders past, earning a reputation in Washington, D.C., as one of the few people down there with integrity.
People in Androscoggin County may not know this, but people in Washington, of both major political parties, have given Poliquin the nickname, “Energizer Bunny.” That’s because he never, ever, stops fighting for Maine and Maine residents. His hard work has earned him bipartisan respect.
He has already gotten six pieces of legislation passed. That’s more than can be said of the last two men who represented Maine before him. Whether for veterans, combating sexual harassment, tax relief for working Mainers, or helping Maine small businesses, he is fighting for Mainers every day. Big money special interests attack him every day, but the truth is that Bruce Poliquin cares about Mainers and is fighting for them, keeping up a Maine tradition.
