The Edward Little girls and boys basketball teams were recognized in the Maine Senate on March 27 by their state senator, Eric Brakey, R-Androscoggin, presenting legislative sentiments honoring their recent Class AA state championship victories. The team also met with Rep. Ellie Espling, R-New Gloucester, and Rep. Bruce Bickford, R-Auburn. This was the Red Eddies boys team’s first basketball state title in 72 years and the Red Eddies girls team’s first ever state championship.
