FARMINGTON —  The Franklin County Democratic Committee (FCDC) will convene for its monthly meeting from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at the Mallett School.

At the March meeting, Congressional Candidates addressed a record number of attendees. The candidates answered questions on topics ranging from the economy and healthcare to gun violence and immigration.

On St. Patrick’s Day, more than 100 Democrats from around the county gathered for the annual Democratic Pancake Breakfast.

The FCDC will fill vacancies for delegates to the Maine Democratic Convention to be held May 18 to 20 in Lewiston. Any voter in Franklin County who was registered as a Democrat by March 4 is eligible to become a delegate. Those interested should contact the FCDC or attend the April 8 meeting.
