WALES — Lakeside Chapter 60, Order of the Eastern Star will hold its stated meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Grange-Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.

It will be followed by open installation of officers. Rachel Nadeau was elected Worthy Matron and Stanton Leighton, Worthy Patron.

The installing suite will be: Installing Grand Matron, Corley Anne Byras, Past Grand Matron and Grand Secretary Emeritus; Installing Grand Patron, Brett Jervis, Associate Grand Patron; Installing Chaplain, Josephine Dupal, Past Matron; Installing Marshal, Jocelyne Jervis, Past Matron; Installing Organist, Eleanor V. Peterson, Past Matron.

Refreshments provided by the officers will be available after the meeting.

The women officers will be in white gowns, the men in black suits or tuxedos.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, May 8, and will honor mothers. The chapter will hold its Landmarks and Obligation Night. Members will listen to the associate conductress’s lecture, will renew their obligation, read the landmarks and listen to the charity folder information.

There will be a rehearsal for the installation at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8. Officers are requested to be there and should call the secretary at 207-753-9337 if unable to make it.
