RUMFORD — The National Alliance on Mental Illness will offer Family-to-Family starting on Tuesday, April 24, at 6 p.m. This is a free, confidential program.
Family-to-Family is an evidence-based, educational program for family members and friends of people living with mental illness taught by teachers who have also lived with this experience.
Participants will learn about mental health conditions, current treatments and therapies, problem-solving and communication skills, coping strategies for worry and stress, advocating for family members and supports and services.
