NEW GLOUCESTER — OTELCO announces the hiring of Chris Mathieu as manager–carrier sales, and the promotion of Troy Rowell to director of sales.
Mathieu will be based in OTELCO’s New Gloucester office. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with all wholesale customers throughout OTELCO’s service areas.
He comes to OTELCO with almost 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, including 15 years in the wholesale telecom market.
Rowell will be responsible for the overall quota attainment for the OTELCO sales organization with oversight of driving top-line revenue growth across all channels.
He was most recently manager of sales for wholesale and retail, where he was responsible for all sales revenues and quotas pertaining to wholesale services and retail services. He joined the OTELCO team in 2013 and prior to that, worked for several years at FairPoint Communications.
