NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE is offering two free small business workshops in April at the Norway Town Office.

The first is a roundtable titled, Cash Flow and Expense Management: Taming the Feast and the Famine of your Business. It will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 18.

Cash flow can be a dripping faucet or a fire hose. The discussion will include input about having enough revenue to cover an influx of orders or pay for additional employee time to handle customer demand; some businesses thrive in summer but struggle in winter. Ideas will center on managing the business ups and downs. It is sponsored by Community Concepts Finance Corp.

The second workshop will offer information about buying or selling a business and will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26. Buying or selling a business is different than a real estate transaction. There are specific legal, accounting and process issues that need to be understood by both parties. The workshop is sponsored by Norway Savings Bank.
