LEWISTON — Elizabeth Ann Berry-Small, 57, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 11, in Lewiston.
She was born June 21, 1960, the daughter of the late Leon C. and Mary E. (Hawley) Berry. Liz graduated from Maranacook High School in Readfield in 1978. She went on to attend the University of Maine at Orono and received her degree in horticulture, graduating in 1980.
On Aug. 29, 1998, she married the love of her life, Michael T. Small, and together they shared a loving marriage of over 20 years. Liz enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, being outdoors, spending time with her grandchildren, “do-it-yourself projects” and watching HGTV.
She was in the floral industry for 35 years, owning and operating Roak the Florist of Auburn and Lewiston. Liz was a friend of Bill W.
Liz is survived by her husband; her daughter, Michelle L. Billings, and husband, Gregory, of Auburn; her son, Curtis M. Small, and wife, Casandra, of Lewiston; her sister, Marcia Berry, of Trevose, Pa.; her two brothers, Benjamin Berry and wife, Michelle, of Wayne, and Joseph Berry of Lewiston; her five grandchildren, Alexander, Logan, Myles, Hunter and Kolton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
