LEWISTON — Leah Elizabeth Blouin, 49, of Rumford Avenue in Rumford, passed away Tuesday, April 17, at CMMC, from injuries received in a car accident in Peru on April 16.

She was born in Rumford on June 18, 1968, a daughter of Willy and Peggy (St. Cyr) Blouin.

Leah was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Class of 1986, and attended Lesley College in Cambridge, Mass.

She was employed with Oxford County Mental Health and Pinnacle Health & Rehab in Canton.

Leah was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.

She was a precocious child, an avid reader, a vibrant woman who usurped attention the moment she entered a room; she liked all kinds of music, respected all peoples and their views, genuinely loved her family and friends, was kind and generous to a fault, and she made all of our lives more interesting.
