NORWAY Norway Memorial Library will host a talk by author Greg Westrich about hiking in Maine and New Hampshire from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26. He will talk about his hiking expeditions, share photographs and talk about discoveries while researching his upcoming book about New Hampshire. Audience members may gain ideas for their own hiking adventures.

Westrich is the author of four hiking guides published by Falcon and is currently working on several others. “Best Hikes in Baxter State Park” will be released next spring. Since 2013, he has mapped more than 500 hikes in Maine. He has also published more than 50 articles and stories in newspapers, anthologies and magazines, including “Canoe & Kayak,” “BirdWatching” and “Down East.” Currently, he is working on “Hiking New Hampshire,” to be released in about a year, and a guide to Maine waterfalls.

This presentation is supported by Friends of Norway Memorial Library. It is free and open to the public. For more information, call 207-743-5309, ext. 1, or email: [email protected].
