MEXICO — Michael P. Cote, 64, of Mexico, a Mic-Mac Indian known as “Chief,” passed away Monday, April 9, at his home.

Born Feb. 27, 1954, he was the son of Maurice and Marie Cote. He is survived by sister, Ann Cote Welch, of Rumford; three nephews, Kris and Brian Welch, David Daigle; a niece, Diane Daigle Frazel.
