In its noon news report, and offered again later that day (April 26), Channel 13 reported that Mike Sylvester of Portland said that if people wanted to “shoot up,” they wouldn’t die if they went to a “safe injection house.”
What kind of stupidity is that? If drug abusers are going to take that chance, then, I’m sorry — let them die. I see no reason to revive them only to have a repeat performance. That has ambulance and EMT personnel overdo themselves.
Who cares what goes on in Montreal. This is the United States.
People need to use their heads for a change. Please.
