One person was transported to a local hospital Sunday evening following a crash involving several cars in New Gloucester, police said.
A dispatcher for the Cumberland County Communications Center confirmed that the crash, which was reported at 5:20 p.m., resulted in one injury.
The New Gloucester Fire and Rescue department, on its Facebook page, said multiple cars collided in the vicinity of 1094 Lewiston Road, near the parking lot to Hodgman’s Frozen Custard.
No other details concerning the cause of the crash or the patient’s condition were available.
