NEW GLOUCESTER — Community members are invited to join the Memorial Day parade and service Monday, May 28, at the Veterans Monument on Route 100.

Commander Willie Danforth of AMVETS Post 6 in New Gloucester said participants will line up at 8 a.m. at Memorial School on Route 231 and proceed at 9 a.m. toward Route 100 and the monument for a service.

Church groups, Girl and Boy Scout troops, veterans’ groups, color guards and vehicles with floats are welcome, along with walkers, classic cars and trucks, tractors, and police and fire vehicles.
