JAY — Police are investigating an underage drinking party early Thursday at a residence on Macomber Hill Road in North Jay that sent some teenagers to a hospital.
A caller called 911 and estimated there were 10 to 20 people in attendance at 2:33 a.m., Police Chief Richard Caton IV said.
Jay police officer Michael Booker was assisted by Wilton officer Kevin Lemay and Livermore Falls officer Darian Booker. Two NorthStar EMS ambulances also responded to the scene.
Charges are pending against people involved in the underage drinking party, Caton said.
