FARMINGTON — The gifted acoustic folk duo Fendrick and Peck return to Farmington North Church for a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24.
From their home in southern Wisconsin they travel the country, performing their music.
“Their music calms the savage beast inside,” Ann Arbor of Farmington said. “Even my grandchildren quiet down in the back seat of the car when Madeline and Brian start to sing.”
Their performances feature exquisite harmonies, meaningful lyrics and rich musical composition.
This concert marks their fourth appearance in Farmington in recent years.
Fendrick and Peck’s discs include “Be Still,” “The Lutefisk Waltz and Other Tails,” and “Lucky Penny.” Their fourth release will appear this summer.
The North Church is at 118 High St. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a pie social and jam session. Anyone interested in joining the jam session is asked to bring an instrument. Children participating get free admission to the performance.
For the general population tickets are $15, high school and college students pay $10 and elementary students pay $5.
