WILMINGTON, N.C. — Stephen E. Oravetz passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, in Wilmington, N.C.
He worked as a mailman, at Bath Iron Works, Deputy Hot Dog Stand and was a security guard.
His enjoyment was watching sports, the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane and Lorraine, both of North Carolina; one son, Robert of Michigan; two brothers, Denis of Nevada and Willie of Bath; one sister, Kathy of North Carolina; grandkids, Jason, Megan, Ryan, Bobby and Lynisa; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his love, Rita Aubin, in 2012; one son, two sisters and his parents.
He will be sadly missed by all, especially his daughter, Mary Jane, whom he lived with in Leland, N.C.
