GULF BREEZE, Fla. — Germaine Poulin Caron, 79, of Bradenton, Fla., died May 11, in Florida.

She was born in Lewiston, March 29, 1939, the daughter of Clement and Lucille Poulin. She was a 1958 Lisbon High graduate where she was involved in Commercial Club, office assistant, Drama Club, cheerleader, FHA, Student Council and a prize-winning speaker. She worked in sales.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She shared a special bond with her sisters, and her “Poulin Sister Reunions” were cherished moments. Gerri flourished when they moved from Maine to Bradenton, Fla., 15 years ago. She loved the beach, pets, friends and family. Gerri was a loving, caring, courageous, independent, fun-loving, persevering person who added joy to all who knew her. Her Christian faith gave her strength during her battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by grandson, Ryan Coyle, parents Clement and Lucille Poulin.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Caron; children Barry Coyle, Julie and Phil Nelson, Lori Gibbings and John McCann; grandchildren Nicholas and Jacob Gibbings, Carly Nelson; great-grandchildren Lilliana Gibbings, Gavyn Beaupre; sisters Rita and Dave Chase, Joan and Ski Miller, Jeannine and Don Smith. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and close friends.
