FARMINGTON — Gloria Pillsbury of Farmington, born Aug. 7, 1936, went on to glory for some well-deserved eternal rest on May 17, after spending years serving others with joy.

Gloria was born in Farmington, the daughter of Arnold and Doris Locke Porter. She was a graduate of Farmington High School. She married the love of her life of 60 years, the late George T. Pillsbury on Sept. 8, 1954. She will forever be loved by her eight children and their families.

Her passions included reading books, writing, singing, walks in nature, sunsets and the Patriots!

She will be greatly missed, every single day by all who had the honor and privilege of knowing her.
