LEWISTON — Claudette D. Guerette, 83, of Lewiston went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 14. She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 8, 1935. She was the youngest daughter of the late Romeo and Sarah (Leblanc) St. Germaine.

Claudette was educated in local schools. She married the love of her life, Robert Guerette, on April 19, 1954. She worked as an administrative assistant at Bell Moc for many years. She later worked as a secretary at First Assembly of God Church and then at Bates College in their business office. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating. She also enjoyed reading, making puzzles and using her iPad. She was extremely committed to her church. Claudette will be remembered for her love of family, her kind heart and her sense of humor.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Auburn; her sister-in-law, Joline (Guerette) Morton, and her husband, Robert, of Spring Hill, Fla., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters Terrie Spears and Betty McCorrmick; and her brother, Adelard Despres.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Montello Heights as well as Dr. Hattan and staff at Clover Manor and Hospice for their kindness and thoughtful care.
