Students and parent volunteers from Carrie Ricker School of Litchfield volunteer their Sunday morning to attend a Memorial Day prepping opportunity led by their teacher and Sabattus American Legion Auxiliary officer Jennifer Caron. The group, led by Sabattus American Legion member Ron Caron, planted flowers at the Sabattus Monument, seen here, and Pleasant Hill Cemetery as well as replaced flags for veterans at five community cemeteries. The students were then given a tour of the Harry J. Conway Post 135, American Legion, by Caron.
