POLAND — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host breakfast at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Poland Spring Resort, 22 Robbins Way.
The speaker will be Rob Brown, director of Business Ownership Solutions, a program of the Cooperative Development Institute that promotes employee ownership and works with business owners and their employees to facilitate conversions.
His topic is A Once in a Generation Opportunity: Preserving and Growing Businesses Through Employee Ownership Conversion. The workshop will examples of how it has worked to preserve and grow Maine businesses.
