LEWISTON — Kevin Webster Pierce, 61, of Auburn passed away Saturday, June 2, surrounded by his family.

Kevin was a native of Norwalk, Conn., but moved to Turner as a teen, and worked and lived in the Lewiston-Auburn area for over 40 years. He attended St. Dominic Academy on a hockey scholarship and later graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

Kevin always put his heart into everything he did; his love of hockey, baking and spending time with his children were among some of his favorite pastimes.

He will be greatly missed by his SO, Catherine Patti; son, Daniel Webster Pierce; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Thomas Lashmit; grandson, Thomas Webster Lashmit; his parents Webster and Cynthia Pierce; his siblings Susan Pierce, Scott Pierce, Gail and husband, Ron Bussiere, Mark and wife, Holly Pierce, Michael and wife, Deana Pierce, Jody Pierce-Glover and husband; and also Kevin’s best friend since childhood, Bobby Glover; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Matthew Pierce.
