Alyssa Thompson is a write-in Democratic primary candidate running for county commissioner in District 3. She has no opponent in the primary, but will not be on the ballot for the general election unless she gets 100 primary write-in votes.

Thompson is a nurse’s aide at CMMC and a committed Democrat. She volunteers her time with Sweet for Governor, Pine Tree Youth Organizing and the Mindful Queer Collective, among others. She has deep family roots in Greene, a strong community connection, and active engagement with politics at the local and state level. To me she is the ideal choice for county commissioner, where her progressive values are sorely needed.

If voters want to have a Democratic choice this November for county commissioner of District 3, they should consider writing in Alyssa Thompson when they go vote.
