ANDOVER — Residents voted 143-87 on Tuesday in support of a $1.2 million school budget for 2018-19, according to Town Clerk Melinda Averill.

Earlier this month, school Superintendent Alton Hadley said the budget is a reduction of 12.86 percent from 2017-18 spending.

Andover has 64 students in grades pre-K through 12, with 22 students at the Andover Elementary School in grades kindergarten through five

The town’s students in grades six through 12 are enrolled at schools in Bethel or Rumford.
