POLAND — Residents in Regional School Unit 16 voted 1,345 to 586 on Tuesday to approve a $22.3 million school budget for 2018-19.

RSU 16 includes Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls.

The budget represents a 3.7 percent increase from current spending, and boosts property taxes on a $100,000 house by $99.63 in Minot, $92.45 in Mechanic Falls and $65.01 in Poland.

Voters from all three towns approved the budget by wide margins: Minot, 323-142; Mechanic Falls, 341-153; and Poland, 681-291.
