DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Dixfield/Dirigo Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting Saturday, June 23, at Dirigo High School in Dixfield. The doors will open at 3 p.m. The state ice hockey champion team of 1958 will be honored. The special classes will have designated tables for the Classes of 1948, 1958, 1968 and 1978. There will be a potluck meal. We were able to give 10 scholarships to this year’s graduating class because of the generous donations of alumni members. Please join us. DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have to thank you immensely for printing my request back in April asking for artists to contribute their work to my hospice project. It has been hugely successful.
