STATAN, ISLAND, NEW YORK — Kaci-Lee Ver Sluis,12, of Sabattus took gold at the East Coast Judo Championship.
Kaci is part of the Kokushikia Judo Travel Team from Fair Lawn, New Jersey coached by three time Olympian, Celita Schutz.
Next stop for Kaci-Lee is the Judo Junior Olympics on June 22 in Spokane, Washington, followed by a thirteen days of training in Japan.
