PORTLAND — At its recent annual meeting of policyholders, held at the Portland Museum of Art, workers’ compensation specialist The MEMIC Group presented awards for workplace safety to four of its more than 18,000 Maine policyholders.
MEMIC Senior Vice President of Loss Control and Safety Services Karl Siegfried paid tribute to Lewiston’s Compounding Solutions and three other Maine-based businesses for their workplace safety efforts.
Compounding Solutions, 258 Goddard Road, manufactures specialty plastics compounds and concentrates that satisfy the strict requirements of even the medical device industry. In the past few years, the company has more than doubled the size of its facilities and workforce to 120,000 square feet and 100-plus employees.
