WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Julien P. Bergeron, 83, known to many friends and family as “Jules,” passed away March 10, 2018, in Winter Haven, Fla.

A native of Lewiston, Julien was born Feb. 26, 1935, the son of Ernest Bergeron and Roseanne Cote. He enjoyed a long marriage (52 years) with Joline H. Rancourt, who preceded him.

His working years were spent in many occupations. From the shoe factories along the Androscoggin River, to being a business owner, to being an all-around handyman in his retirement years, he had a multitude of skills. Julien knew how to build or fix anything. He was a hard worker, a loving husband and a good provider for his children.

Julien is survived by his four children: John Bergeron of Auburn; Jacqueline Bergeron of Walkersville, Md.; Julie Bergeron-Sawitzke of Rome, Italy; and Jim Bergeron of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Bergeron.
